The Statue of Unity is a statue of Indian independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It is the world’s tallest statue with a height of (597 ft) 182 meters.
Saradarsarovar dam, Valley of Flowers, Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, Jungle Safari, Glow Garden (open in the Evening only), Ekta Mall, Children’s nutrition park, Saradar Sarovar Nauka Vihar, Zarwani Waterfalls, Khalwani Eco Tourism Point, River rafting, Arogya Van, Vishwa Van, Ekta Nursery, Dino Trail, Pet Zone, Miyawaki forest, Maze Garden, Narmada Ghat, Shoolpaneshwar Mahadev Temple and Wild Life Sanctuary, Poicha etc are the attractions nearby The Statue of Unity.
There are clean washrooms (for specially abled people also), drinking water facility, cafeteria, Transport facility, locker room, huge parking, tourist information center, sitting arrangements, etc facilities available for visiting tourists.
Wheelchairs are available on request from the gate of the SOU Complex. Rest rooms are Specially abled people friendly. Apart from Specially abled people, wheelchairs are available for elderly peoples as well.
SOU is closed on every Monday. Timings for visit SOU is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Timing for entry to Viewing Gallery (observation deck) is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
SOU has its onw beauty and advantages in each season. It is worth visiting anytime throughout the year.
SOU Complex has museum, audio-visual gallery, sound and light show (in the evening only), exhibition centre, etc. There is an observation Deck at the Chest level of the SOU which gives excellent panoramic view of the surroundings. There are two lifts to reach at observation Deck.
